Idaho National Laboratory (INL) has partnered with Idaho Regional Optical Network (IRON) to provide redundant paths for INL’s external network needs. INL views IRON as a strategic partner to enable the Laboratory to meet its expanding needs to assist the nation to secure its critical infrastructure, research nuclear power and correlate with customers to share information appropriately. IRON’s assistance to help INL find cost effective, high bandwidth connectivity to universities and the internet, is critical for the needed collaboration between the entities that the Laboratory works with.
